ARE REGROOVED TYRES ALLOWED ON A BUS OR COACH?

Yes, regrooved tyres are allowed on a bus or coach. The MICHELIN X INCITY range can be regrooved, allowing a cost optimization and a low carbon footprint. When regrooved, a tyre's service life is extended during the period when it consumes the least fuel.

BUSES MAY HAVE RECAPPED OR REGROOVED TYRES?

Yes, recapped tyres are allowed on buses with fitment only on drive axles and/or on tag axles. The fitment on front axles is not allowed.

MICHELIN X INCITY range can be recapped and regrooved to give multiple lives to the tyres.

HOW MUCH DOES A BUS TYRE WEIGH?
